MLS may be on the verge of losing one of the brightest talents in its ranks after Brazilian giant Fluminense logged a bid for LAFC talisman Denis Bouanga.
The 31-year-old Black and Gold ace has become one of the leading lights in MLS across the last three seasons, but a bid of around $15 million from Tricolor may be too good for the SoCal side to turn down.

Bouanga was the subject of a $13 million approach by Inter Miami earlier this month, as interest in the Gabonese forward has heightened after yet another sensational 2025 campaign.
A finalist for MLS Most Valuable Player in 2025 and a feature in the Best XI across the last three seasons, Bouanga was in the midst of forming a dynamic partnership with South Korean legend Son Heung-min on the back end of last season.
Across 101 appearances for LAFC, Bouanga has bagged 65 goals and 20 assists in MLS, etching his name in the club’s fabric at BMO Stadium.
