Many star players have graduated from Michigan State and became NBA superstars, including Draymond Green, Gary Harris, Jaren Jackson Jr., etc. Hopefully, next month, former Spartan Jase Richardson will be added to the list.

On Thursday, Spartans Wire released a list of the 2025-26 roster of players who might have the potential to make it and have a successful NBA career.

First, Coen Carr, even though many people have questioned his jump shot, he might be considered to be one of the most athletic players in basketball. Carr has made himself a potential prospect for the NBA by making improvements on defense and rebounding.
Then there is Cam Ward, he is not new when it comes to the press discussing his name and his having a higher chance of making it to the NBA. He has the portfolio that many NBA teams would like to have as a player on their team. Ward plays multiple positions and is great on defence.
Other players that have potential include: Jordan Scott, Jesse McCuulloch, Kaleb Glenn, and Kur Teng.
Then some players have the potential, but is it NBA potential? Maybe.

Jeremy Fears Jr is arguably to the Spartans team to be a very key player. However, with his limited jump shot, it’s very difficult to see whether or not he is the talk of NBA prospects.
Jaxon Kohler has also been another name added to the list, but just as Fears, it is quite difficult to see him as a prospect, maybe in the G-League? That’s kinda questionable as well.
Another name included: Carson Cooper, and Trey Fort.
