The 2026 women’s NCAA Tournament has arrived.
UConn, the reigning national champion, enters as the clear favorite. In fact, the 34-0 Huskies haven’t lost since January 2025, a testament to the sustained excellence Geno Auriemma has brought to Storrs.

While all signs point to UConn, its path to another championship won’t be seamless. UCLA, Texas and South Carolina are also strong contenders.
The First Four is slated for Wednesday and Thursday with the first round starting Friday. All coverage will be available on the ESPN networks.
