Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star athlete Tae Walden Jr. named Tennessee in his top 10 schools, along with Oregon, Auburn, Georgia, Missouri, LSU, Ohio State, Clemson, Notre Dame and Ole Miss, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound prospect plays wide receiver and cornerback for Collierville High School in Collierville, Tennessee. He is the son of former NFL linebacker Erik Walden.
247Sports ranks Walden Jr. as the No. 3 athlete in the class and No. 3 player in Tennessee.
Tennessee offered him a scholarship on Oct. 3, 2025. He visited the Vols for the Tennessee-Oklahoma football game on Nov. 1, 2025.
Florida State was the first school to offer Walden Jr. a scholarship on Jan. 22, 2025. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Arkansas, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Louisville, Maryland, Indiana, Michigan, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Stanford, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, Florida and USC.

Tennessee has six commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler and wide receiver KeSean Bowman.
