Tennessee offered Cobbins a scholarship on Oct. 14, 2024. He unofficially visited for the Vols’ football game against Kentucky in 2024 and for a spring practice on March 29, 2025.
Kentucky was the first school to offer Cobbins a scholarship on Oct. 12, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Maryland, Austin Peay, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Bowling Green, Miami University, Toledo, Temple, Arkansas, Nicholls, Southern Miss, Texas A&M, Missouri, SMU, Wake Forest, Oregon and California.
Tennessee does not have a 2028 commitment. The Vols have four 2027 commitments: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife and quarterback Derrick Baker.
