Three Big Ten football uniforms have been named “perfect” with 10/10 rankings heading into the 2025 college football regular season.

The 2025 college football regular season is right around the corner. Games are set to begin later in August. The first big-time matchup is set for Saturday, Aug. 30, when Ohio State takes on Texas in a potential No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown at The Horseshoe in Columbus.
There’s a lot to love about college football, with the games being No. 1, obviously, but the uniforms – and pageantry – are not far behind.
Which Big Ten football uniforms are the best, though? One NBC analyst has labeled three uniforms 10/10 heading into the 2025 season.

An NBC analyst has labeled three Big Ten football uniforms “perfect” heading into the 2025 season.
There’s one big surprise.
Minnesota
Yes, the Golden Gophers – not what you would think of when you think of iconic Big Ten uniforms – were given a perfect 10/10 rating by the NBC football analyst.
“Maroon and gold, underrated combination,” he said.
Former Ohio State football star Joshua Perry didn’t really agree, though. He called it “aggressive” and we’d have to agree.

Oregon
The Ducks are synonymous with great college football uniforms, so it’s no surprise that their throwback green and yellow uniform gets a 10/10 rating from the NBC analyst.
Still, not everyone loves them, as they can be a bit much in the eyes of some fans.
“No matter what combination, this is a 10/10,” he said of Oregon’s uniforms.
USC
Most would probably think that Ohio State or Michigan would get the final 10/10 spot here, given their history, but instead, it goes to the Trojans.

It’s an iconic college football uniform, to be sure. The colors pop on TV, especially when they are playing their rival, UCLA.
