3-star 2025 Canadian edge prospect officially visits Michigan State football

by

The 2025 recruiting class is all but almost over for Michigan State football. After signing 16 commits in the winter, the Spartans have a pair of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s commits in Bryson Williams and Antonio Johnson that they are expecting to have sign this week during the late signing period, but now there might be one more prospect to add to the list.

MSU has kept tabs on Emmanuel Nwaiwu, a defensive line prospect from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and they are now in heavy pursuit of the prospect. The 6’4″, 250 pound Nwaiwu officially visited East Lansing this past weekend, and now holds the Spartans in high esteem.

Michigan State DL coach Legi Suiaunoa discovered the prospect last summer, during a camp at Wayne State. Since then, Nwaiwu has been kept close to the coaching staff. He will make a decision on Feb. 5 with Akron, Boise State and Boston College all being in contention.
