The Indiana Fever are perhaps the most popular team in the WNBA, led by the sensational Caitlin Clark.
In Clark’s second season, expectations are high for the Fever to make a real push in the 2025 WNBA playoffs and contend for the franchise’s first title since 2012.

Caitlin Clark is capable of an MVP season

Clark led the WNBA in assists and 3-pointers during the 2024 season, her first in the league. After her first genuine offseason in quite some time, the phenom should be more rested for her sophomore campaign. She’ll have more experience under her belt to go with a new coach and a better roster for 2025. We have a feeling Clark is going to be even more impressive in 2025 than she was last season. An MVP campaign is possible.

In her second stint with Indiana as a head coach, White comes with plenty of recent success. She took the Connecticut Sun to the semifinals in the past two seasons and won 25-plus games each year. With so much promise blended with proven veterans on the roster, White might have her most talented WNBA team yet.
Kelsey Mitchell will continue to dominate alongside Clark

Mitchell is one of the most underrated players in the WNBA, and she was arguably even more impactful than Clark after the 2024 Paris Olympics break. We’re very excited to see how Mitchell thrives in White’s system and how her second season with Clark will go. She should keep Indiana’s offense one of the WNBA’s best.
Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull will continue to improve
Indiana Fever’s Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull share a laugh Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, ahead of a press conference welcoming Stephanie White as the team’s new head coach.
Indiana will get more experienced versions of Boston and Hull in 2025. The team’s former first-round draft picks both excelled last season, and it will really help Indiana contend for a title if these two can continue to build on what they accomplished in 2024. It will be huge for the Fever to see those two play integral roles.
The Fever’s new additions will make a giant difference
Indiana Fever DeWanna Bonner (25) reacts after missing a layup Saturday, May 3, 2025, during a preseason game between the Indiana Fever and the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Indiana Fever defeated the Washington Mystics in overtime, 79-74.
The Fever didn’t let 2024 success keep the front office from improving the roster. Indiana made some substantial additions to the roster this offseason, including impactful vets like guard/forward DeWanna Bonner, guard Sophie Cunningham, forward Natasha Howard and guard Sydney Colson. The team also added Florida State forward Makayla Timpson in the 2025 WNBA Draft. This improved roster can make a huge difference.
