Michigan State football will play host to a massive recruit in the 2028 class this weekend.
Lorenzo McMullen Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio announced on Tuesday morning that he’ll be attending the Spartans‘ marquee matchup against Boston College on Saturday. McMullen is rated as one of the best players in the country in the 2028 class by 247Sports.

McMullen is wide receiver prospect that plays for Taft High School. He is a five-star prospect and holds a recruiting rating of 99.36 in the 247Sports composite ratings system.
McMullen ranks as the No. 4 wide receiver and No. 12 overall player in the 2028 class, according to 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the top player from Ohio in the class.
Michigan State has not yet extended an offer to McMullen, but I’m sure that’ll be coming soon. He does, however, hold offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Purdue, Wisconsin, Kent State, Miami (OH), Toledo, Western Michigan, Ohio and Temple.
