Georgia football has picked up another 4-star class of 2026 recruit in Chace Calicut.
The Houston native announced his pick Friday afternoon at halftime during the OT7 finals. He selected the Bulldogs over Michigan and Texas, which were Calicut’s top 3.

“I made my decision down there at Georgia during the official visit,” Calicut told Rivals. “The coaches always told me that when you’re home, it’ll feel right … When I stepped foot on Georgia’s campus, after I got a feel for the program, I knew it was the right spot.”

The defensive back had 34 total collegiate offers, including Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida State, Kansas, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas A&M and more.
The 6-foot-3, 150-pound high school senior is ranked as the No. 13 safety in the nation and No. 23 in Texas by the 247Sports Composite. He becomes the 23rd hard commit for the Bulldogs, 10th 4-star commit and fourth safety commit alongside fellow 4-stars Zech Fort and Jordan Smith and 3-star Kealan Jones.
