The Michigan football program is hoping to put together one of the better offensive line classes in the country for 2026, with massive 6-foot-6, 318 pound Hawaiian offensive tackle Malakai Lee giving his pledge to Michigan earlier this week.

Lee’s commitment was added to a list that includes three-stars Bear McWhorter and Marky Walbridge.
Recently one of the nation’s top five o-linemen announced that he would choose between the Wolverines and three other national football powers, giving coach Sherrone Moore’s program a chance to land a player who could become a bookend, road grading blocking in both the passing game and the running game for years to come.

“Five-star OT Felix Ojo will announce his Commitment on July 4th, he tells me for @Rivals Recruits,” Hayes Fawcett wrote of the five-star offensive tackle.
“The No. 6 Recruit in the ’26 Class will choose between Florida, Texas, Michigan, & Ohio State Where Should He Go?” Fawcett asked.

“Texas is the only logical answer here,” one fan said.
“Go to the coach that has produced 2 Joe Moore winning lines,” another said of Michigan and Moore.
“Sounds like Texas but the way Michigan is recruiting you never know,” another fan added.
Ojo hails from Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas and stands 6-feet-7 inches tall, weighing nearly 300 pounds.
He would become Michigan’s fourth recruit for 2026 from the class of Texas if he offers his pledge to the Wolverines, joining Zion Robinson of Mansfield High School, Alister Vallejo and Jaylen Pile, the latter of whom has been one of the Wolverines’ most active players on social media in efforts to recruit other players.
