For the second time this season, the Dallas Wings will take on the Indiana Fever on Sunday, although it will mark the first time that Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark will share the floor since college.
Clark entered the WNBA as one of the best prospects of any sport, ever, and Bueckers, picked first by Dallas in 2025, is not far behind.
The Wings lost their first game against the Fever this season, but with Clark returning from injury, this game will garner a lot more attention than the first.
The Wings so far have dropped both games in a short road trip, with Bueckers struggling on the floor in both contests. She recently revealed her strategy coming into the biggest game of her WNBA career so far.

“Staying aggressive, trying to get two feet in the paint, continue to get the shots that we’re getting, being confident and knowing that they’re gonna fall at some point, sticking to what we know and what we do,” listed Bueckers as goals for the marquee game.
Bueckers scores more and with better efficiency at home, and she’s hoping to overcome her road hurdle against Clark, although she knows that the defense will be more important than the offense against the star-studded Fever team.
“We need to have our defense travel,” she continued. “Not every night we’re going to make shots, but how can we win when even we’re not making shots on offense?”
Clark has missed significant time this season with injury, and the Fever, who were once seen as Finals frontrunners, are only 9-10 this season, making it a winnable game for Dallas.
