Jaxson Dart has arrived.
The Giants' starters played the opening drive of Saturday’s preseason meeting with the Bills, but then they turned things over to Dart and the backups.
The rookie quarterback showed no nerves during his unofficial first pro action, leading Big Blue’s offense on a touchdown scoring drive in his second turn on the field.
He completed an 18-yard strike to running back Dante Miller on third-and-nine, then picked up 28 more yards on a completion to Montrell Washington.
Two players later, Dart hung in and took a big hit as he unleashed a perfect throw to Lil’Jordan Humphrey for a 29-yard touchdown.
He finished the drive 3-for-4 for 75 yards.
