Lady Vols basketball will tip off in the morning this year at the Women’s Champions Classic.
Tennessee will face Louisville at 10:30 a.m. ET on Dec. 20 at the Barclays Center in New York, and UConn will play Iowa in the second game at 1 p.m. ET, the Women’s Champions Classic announced Aug. 21. Both games will be broadcast on FOX.

The Lady Vols beat Iowa 78-68 at the Barclays Center in the inaugural showcase last year. Both games were played in primetime slots on FOX at 7 and 9 p.m. last season.
FOX is scheduled to broadcast two NFL games on Dec. 20. The Green Bay Packers will play at the Chicago Bears, and the Philadelphia Eagles will play at the Washington Commanders. Kickoff times for both games have yet to be announced.

The Women’s Champions Classic was initially planned as an annual showcase featuring UConn, and it will include a rotation of some of the most storied college programs each season. The four teams combine for a total of 19 NCAA championships – thanks to UConn and Tennessee – along with 46 appearances in the Final Four and 120 conference titles.

The game against Louisville at a neutral site is one of several quality matchups on Tennessee’s nonconference schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Lady Vols will also face NC State in a neutral-site matchup to open the season and play UCLA, Stanford and UConn on the road.
