It’s all gone off the rails at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the Columbus Crew are on the warpath against Atlanta United.
Already entrenched in a season to forget, the Five Stripes have been ruthlessly put to the sword by Diego Rossi and company, with the Crew bagging five goals before the half-time interval.

The Uruguayan star opened the scoring in the 14th minute before adding his second just three minutes later, with the Crew making it three-to-the-good before the 30-minute mark through Wessam Abou Ali, who netted his first MLS goal in the process.
It would only get worse for Ronny Deila’s troops in front of stunned home support, with many fans leaving the ground in disgust as Marcelo Herrera added a fourth before Rossi popped up to complete a first-half hat-trick.
Mercifully, Atlanta would get on the board just before the break thanks to a converted effort from the spot through Miguel AlmirĂłn, but the result surely remains beyond doubt with 45 minutes of action left.
