Indiana football is hosting more than one big-time visitor next weekend.
Jalen Brewster, a defensive lineman in the class of 2027 rated as a 5-star by Rivals’ Industry Ranking, will be in Bloomington when the Hoosiers take on No. 9 Illinois on Saturday. He ranks in as the 8th highest-rated prospect overall and as the highest-rated defensive lineman in the class. He originally visited the program this past June.
He attends Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill, Texas, but was born and spent much of his childhood in Indianapolis, less than an hour away from Bloomington. He’s attracted plenty of interest in the Lone Star State but holds offers back home from Indiana and Notre Dame, among others.

Indiana has prioritized the defensive front under Curt Cignetti, going as far as employing separate coaches for defensive tackles and ends. As an interior lineman, Brewster would join Pat Kuntz’s room.
As if Indiana didn’t already have enough reasons to show out on Saturday.
