Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark gave her support to Minnesota Lynx superstar forward Napheesa Collier on Thursday during her exit interview.
Collier’s brutal WNBA takedown from her Tuesday exit interview has taken the league by storm, particularly with anger directed at league commissioner Cathy Engelbert. Part of Collier’s fiery statement alleged Engelbert insulted how Clark got her endorsement deals, alleging they’re only possible because Clark is a WNBA player.

Clark initially gave no comment about Engelbert’s alleged diss, but she did elaborate on Thursday that she hadn’t yet heard about this allegation before Collier went public with it and hasn’t yet heard from Engelbert about it.
We’ll see if that changes, but Engelbert’s only response to Collier’s statement so far has been a vague statement of her own.
Is Engelbert resigning?
A recent report suggested she may step down after WNBA CBA negotiations have finished, but nothing is confirmed at this time.
