WNBA guard Lexie Hull is one of Caitlin Clark’s closest friends on the Indiana Fever. In fact, one could say she is Clark’s best friend on the team, considering how often they bond and poke fun at each other.
During Clark’s rookie year, when the WNBA went on a break for the Olympics, she and Hull went on a vacation to Cabo together with their partners. The All-Star guard has also never shied away from showing her love for her teammate whenever she can, even previously posting that her account on X is “now a Lexie Hull fan account.”

It is interesting to note, however, that Hull is the only player in the WNBA today to have played alongside Clark and Angel Reese, who is often pitted against the Fever star as rivals.
Hull was teammates with Reese during the inaugural season of the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league earlier in 2025. They were both part of the Roses BC team, which eventually won the championship.
Sure enough, being a close friend of Clark and becoming teammates with someone who was supposed to be her biggest rival could have been tricky for Hull. However, that’s not the case, as the 26-year-old has gained a better perspective of both players as individuals and competitors.

“Playing with both of those players — playing with every player — everyone’s a good person,” Hull said of Clark and Reese in an interview with Glamour.
“I think that’s what fans don’t see all the time, that these people aren’t just cussing at the refs, pushing people down. That’s not who they are off the court, and people need to know that.”

Hull went on to condemn the critical comments directed at both Clark and Reese, noting that while it’s okay to have a favorite player, there is simply no room to put one down just to uplift the other.

“I think that you can be supportive of people and I think you can have your favorite players, but I don’t think there’s room to degrade people or speak in a way that is disrespectful,” Hull added, emphasizing “that’s over the line.”
Hull is a restricted free agent this offseason, and the Fever aren’t expected to let her walk away. That being said, she’ll likely be teammates with Clark for years to come.
As for Reese, it remains to be seen if they will be teammates again. Hull will return to Unrivaled in 2026, but the Chicago Sky star herself has yet to make a decision herself.
