Nebraska basketball (18-0, 7-0) remained undefeated on Saturday, defeating the Northwestern Wildcats (8-10, 0-7) 77-58 at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
The victory extends the Huskers’ winning streak to 22 straight games dating back to last season. That’s the longest streak by a Big Ten team since Ohio State won 24 straight games to open the 2010-11 season.

Pryce Sandfort led the Nebraska offense with 22 points while shooting 5-of-10 from the three-point line. Braden Frager also contributed 20 points and four rebounds off the bench.
The victory was No. 102 for Fred Hoiberg at Nebraska, moving past Doc Sadler (101 wins) for fifth on NU’s career wins list.
Nebraska returns to Lincoln on Wednesday evening to host the Washington Huskies. Tipoff from Pinnacle Bank Arena is set for 8 p.m. CT and can be seen on BTN.
