No. 20 Tennessee (12-3, 5-0 SEC) defeated No. 21 Alabama (17-3, 3-3 SEC), 70-59, Sunday at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Tennessee ended the Crimson Tide’s 18-game home winning streak.
The Lady Vols led, 35-28, at halftime after trialing by 10 points in the first quarter.

Talaysia Cooper totaled 16 points, two assists and two steals. She was one of five Lady Vols to score 10-plus points in the contest. Cooper converted 6-of-16 field goal attempts, 3-of-7 three-point attempts and 1-of-2 free throw attempts.
Zee Spearman and Alyssa Latham scored 12 points each. Spearman, who fouled out in the contest, also recorded four rebounds and three assists, while Latham had 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Mia Pauldo scored 10 of her 13 points in the fourth quarter. She had four fouls in the contest.
Janiah Barker recorded a double-double against Alabama as she scored 10 points and recorded 11 rebounds before leaving the contest early due to injury. She also finished with two assists and two blocks.

Alabama’s Jessica Timmons had 22 points to lead all scorers.
