NEW COMMIT: The University of Louisville has scored a new verbal commitment for the 2027-28 season and beyond from Robbinsville, New Jersey native Maddy Brennan. Brennan, a U.S. Open qualifier, is a talented distance freestyler.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am so incredibly excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to pursue my athletic and academic career at the University of Louisville! I would first like to thank Coach Arthur and the whole coaching staff and team at Louisville for welcoming me and giving me this opportunity. I would also like to thank my family and friends who have supported me through every step of this process. And lastly, I want to thank my coaches and teammates at Peddie for pushing me and helping me to better myself every day. I am so grateful for this opportunity, and I cannot wait to see where the lord leads me. GO CARDS!!!”
Brennan does her club swimming with Peddie Aquatic Association. She most recently competed at Juniors East and she notched a PB in the 1500m free at the USA Swimming National Championships last summer. Brennan won the mile and took third in the 500 free and 1000 free at Ithaca Sectionals last March, earning lifetime bests in all three events.
