Michigan State football is the latest power four school to extend an offer to an offensive tackle prospect from Illinois.
Corey Laga of Lemont, Ill. announced on Saturday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Per Laga’s post on social media network X, he received his offer from Michigan State following his visit there this weekend.

Laga is currently an unranked or rated offensive tackle in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, and plays for Lemont High.
Michigan State joins a group of nearly 10 schools to offer Laga, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Kansas, Kansas State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Eastern Michigan and San Diego State. He has also received interest from Purdue, Indiana and Illinois.
