The two coached together under legendary coach Leon Barmore at Louisiana Tech, so a lot of their coaching philosophies and tactics are similar. And they know what to expect from each other and their teams whenever they meet.

When you look at some of the previous games between LSU women’s basketball and Alabama, one can tell why. The Crimson Tide won in overtime in Tuscaloosa last season and the year before, LSU had to rally from being down at halftime.
This season is another ranked showdown between No. 5 Tigers (20-2, 6-2 SEC) and the Tide (19-3, 5-3).
