
Ohio State women’s basketball (20-3) has reached the AP’s top 10 after starting the season unranked. OSU checks in at No. 9 spot in the latest poll.
This past week, the Buckeyes swept their two-game home stand, collecting lopsided wins over Wisconsin (81-58) and Nebraska (90-71) to improve their Big Ten record to 9-2.

Ohio State’s losses in the conference have come at the hands of No. 2 UCLA and No. 10 Iowa, who defeated the Buckeyes 82-75 and 91-70, respectively.
The Buckeyes went 11-1 in non-conference play, finishing with a 71-69 victory over formerly top-10-ranked TCU. The only non-conference loss Ohio State picked up was against the nation’s top team. The Buckeyes fell to UConn, 100-68 on Nov. 16.

This is the Buckeyes’ highest ranking since February of last season, when they were at the No. 8 spot.
Ohio State is one of seven Big Ten teams in the top 25. The Buckeyes are set to face four of those ranked teams before the end of the month.

On Feb. 5, the Buckeyes start their West Coast trip against No. 24 Washington (17-5). Tipoff is 9 p.m.
