BATON ROUGE — After an unblemished three-game homestand, LSU women’s basketball is back on the road, this time in Texas.

Kim Mulkey and the No. 5 Tigers (21-2, 7-2 SEC) travel to take on No. 4 Texas (21-2, 6-2) in a highly anticipated rematch from earlier this season set for 8 p.m. Thursday inside Moody Center on ESPN.

LSU upset Texas, 70-65, in the first contest of a home-and-home series back in January. It marked the first win for LSU over Texas since it joined the league a couple of years ago. Coming into the game, the Tigers have won seven straight games.
