Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark’s rise to superstardom has been nothing short of phenomenal. This was brought about by her elite talent on the basketball court, which made her one of the biggest prospects to ever enter the WNBA.
Clark, however, would not be where she is without the support of her fans. The 24-year-old lived up to all the hype in her first two years in the league, and her supporters have stood behind her every step of the way. This is despite the fact that Clark played just 13 games in 2025 due to multiple soft tissue injuries.

On Wednesday, the Fever took to social media to share a photo of Clark and some of her teammates. The Indiana players were not the main subject of the pictures, though. The Fever made a post to honor their loyal fans.
“And this is why” the team wrote on Instagram, sharing photos of Clark and the Fever players interacting with the supporters.
Clark caught wind of the post and responded with an exciting message.
“Time to get back to a lot of this,” she wrote.

Clark is clearly looking forward to meeting her fans again. She will get the chance to do so on a regular basis once the new WNBA season starts.
The start of the 2026 WNBA season is scheduled for May. The Fever open their campaign on May 9 against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings at home at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The downside is that there is still no guarantee that the season will start as scheduled. The WNBA remains locked in negotiations with the players union. With both sides still at a deadlock, the prospect of a lockout is becoming increasingly possible.

Clark did not mention the ongoing negotiations in her post. However, she’s made it clear that she’s eagerly awaiting her next home game with her fans.
