Four-star class of 2026 defensive lineman Anthony Jones committed to the Oregon Ducks on Wednesday.
Jones chose the Ducks over the Wisconsin Badgers, according to On3’s Greg Biggins. The blue-chip prospect was originally committed to UCLA, though he walked back his pledge after the program moved on from head coach DeShaun Foster during the 2025 season.

247Sports ranks Jones as the No. 479 overall player, the No. 53 defensive lineman and the No. 44 recruit from the state of California in the class of 2026. He joins an Oregon recruiting class that now ranks No. 2 in the 247Sports composite, trailing only USC.
Wisconsin, meanwhile, wraps up the 2026 recruit cycle with the nation’s No. 71-ranked class. The program now turns attention to 2027, where it currently ranks No. 25 nationally with three players committed.
