The 5 issues with the college football calendar.
A lot of talk has been made about the issues with the calendar and trying to fix it. This post states the biggest potential fixes are: starting the season with week 0 (which has a lot of traction), moving the CFP up a week, moving signing day and the transfer portal dates, and ditching spring ball for OTAs.
Jeff Choate on the media deals.
Coach Choate has never been afraid to speak his mind on any topick and this time it’s about the MW and PAC media deals. He says it’s a net loss for both conferences and once again makes him wish that a merger happened because of the power of the collective brands. Keep in mind, neither conference has released the terms of those deals, but maybe coaches are privy to more info than us.
