Is Alabama basketball back in Coaches Poll after beating Auburn, A&M?

The Alabama Crimson Tide notched two of the biggest wins on their 2025-26 SEC basketball schedule last week.

Alabama (16-7 overall, 6-4 conference) rallied for a 100-97 win over the Texas A&M Aggies on Wednesday night at Coleman Coliseum before winning arguably its most impressive game of the SEC slate Saturday against the Auburn Tigers at Neville Arena.

Labaron Philon had 25 points to go with five rebounds and six assists as the Tide won their second straight trip to Auburn, 96-92. Amari Allen added 17 points against the Tigers, and Aden Holloway finished with 15.

Holloway was one of Alabama’s biggest stars In the win over Texas A&M, leading the Crimson Tide with 20 points as Nate Oats’ team beat an Aggies squad that had entered the game in possession of first place in the SEC.

Alabama will return to action Wednesday against the Ole Miss Rebels. In the meantime, here’s where the Crimson Tide land in this week’s USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

Alabama is unranked in the USA TODAY Sports’ Coaches Poll for the second straight week. The Crimson Tide fell out of the rankings for the first time since 2024 following a 100-77 loss to the Florida Gators on Feb. 1.
