NEW COMMIT: The University of Louisville has received a new verbal commitment for the 2027-28 season and beyond from Junior National qualifier Aidin Muminovic of Richmond, Va.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I am beyond excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Louisville! I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude toward my whole family: Mom and Dad, grandparents, siblings, friends, and all my coaches who believed in and pushed me along the way. Shoutout to NOVA and Trinity for all the great support throughout the years and a special thanks to Coach Adam Moss for sticking by my side all this time. A huge thank you to Coach Arthur and the Louisville coaching staff for this outstanding opportunity, I can’t wait for what the future holds.”

Muminovic does his club swimming with NOVA of Virginia Aquatics and competed at Juniors East back in December. Last summer, he finaled in six events at Virginia Long Course Seniors before going on to place 17th in the 100m back and 19th in the 50m back at NCSA Summer Championships.

His best times include:

  • 100 fly – 48.49
  • 200 free – 1:39.72
  • 100 free – 46.17
  • 50 free – 20.76
  • 50 back – 23.48
  • 100 back – 48.76

Currently a junior at Trinity Episcopal School, Muminovic placed third in the 100 back and sixth in the 100 fly at the 2025 VISAA State Championship. He took third in the 100 fly and sixth in the 200 free at the state meet during his rookie season.

The Cardinals finished fifth at the 2025 ACC Championships and went on to place 14th at the 2025 NCAA Championships.
