Alabama women’s basketball has held steady in the rankings after another up and down week.
The Crimson Tide got their third ranked win of the season with a 64-63 win over Ole Miss last Thursday but suffered its second unranked loss of the year to Texas A&M on Sunday. Despite that, the coaches kept Alabama at No. 23 in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll on Tuesday, Feb. 3,

The Crimson Tide (20-5, 6-5 SEC) earned 92 points in the poll, dropping 41 points as they went 1-1 on the week.
Alabama will host No. 10 Oklahoma on Sunday, with No. 3 South Carolina on Thursday, Feb. 19. There’s still a road game with No. 5 Vanderbilt and the regular season finale with No. 4 Texas on the schedule.
The Crimson Tide started the year 14-0 and reeled off three SEC wins in a row following a loss to South Carolina. The middle victory in that streak was over then-No. 6 Kentucky, which fell to No. 9.
The Crimson Tide entered the poll Dec. 9 at No. 25 before moving up to No. 24 in the Dec. 16 poll. Alabama had been earning votes in the poll since the preseason poll was released on Oct. 23.
