Two Wisconsin Badgers receive NFL Combine invites

by

Two Wisconsin Badgers were invited to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine on Wednesday: edge rusher Mason Reiger and wide receiver Vinny Anthony.

Reiger, first, joined the Badgers for the 2025 season after five years at Louisville. He immediately became one of Wisconsin’s top edge rushers, finishing the year with 33 tackles, six for loss, five sacks and one pass deflection. The 6-foot-5 defensive lineman is currently projected as a late Day 3 selection in April’s draft.

Anthony, next, signed with Wisconsin as a three-star recruit in the class of 2022. He played sparingly as a freshman and sophomore in 2023 and 2024, respectively, appearing in 23 combined games and totaling 10 receptions, 99 receiving yards, four rush attempts and 32 rushing yards during that time. The Louisville, Kentucky, native then broke out as a junior in 2024, leading the Badgers with 39 catches, 672 yards and four touchdowns. In spite of poor quarterback play, he backed up those numbers in 2025, finishing the year with 31 receptions, 391 yards and one score. The standout wide receiver is currently slotted as a mid-to-late Day 3 pick.
