The Georgia Bulldogs are predicted to make a big addition to their recruiting class. Georgia is predicted to add a commitment from four-star offensive line recruit Joshua Sam-Epelle, per Hale McGranahan of 247Sports. Georgia has multiple different predictions to land Sam-Epelle.

The 6-foot-9, 310-pound offensive tackle is one of the biggest and best players in the class of 2027. You can’t teach size, but Sam-Epelle has more than just that.

The talented offensive lineman plays high school football and participates in track and field for Douglas Country in Douglasville, Georgia. The four-star is ranked as the nation’s fifth-best offensive tackle in the rising senior class, per 247Sports. Sam-Epelle is ranked as the No. 31 prospect in the nation, so he is close to being ranked as a five-star prospect.

The Douglas County star is the top-ranked offensive lineman in Georgia in the 2027 recruiting cycle. Sam-Epelle is the third-best recruit in the Peach State behind Ohio State edge rusher commit DJ Jacobs and uncommitted edge rusher KJ Green.

Sam-Epelle could join Georgia’s class of 2027, which features six commitments including one along the offensive front. Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia already have a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Kelsey Adams.

Sam-Epelle suffered a torn ACL in Sept. 2024, which made him miss much of his sophomore season in high school. He still feels like Georgia has placed a premium on his talent.

One thing that likely made impression on a recruit like Sam-Epelle is how much playing time freshmen offensive linemen Juan Gaston and Dontrell Glover received during the 2025 college football season. The Dawgs will have to beat out South Carolina, Miami, Tennessee and more to land a commitment from Sam-Epelle
