A popular college basketball account has listed Spartans star guard Jeremy Fears Jr. as one of the top players in the country at the midseason mark.
College Basketball Report released their midseason All-American teams, with Fears cracking the list. The popular college basketball centric social media account put Fears as a second team All-American, with Purdue point guard Braden Smith getting the nod for the first team.

Fears is off to his best season of his career, averaging 15.1 points and 9.1 assists per game this year for the Spartans. He’s been especially dominant in the last two months, where he’s averaging just under 20 points per game.
Fears has been stellar for the Spartans this season and is a big reason why Michigan State is ranked in the top 10 nationally. So it should come as no surprise to see him among the top players in the country and named a midseason All-American. Hopefully, he’ll have a strong finish to the year and be an All-American at the end of the year as well.
