Wisconsin basketball continued its terrific stretch of basketball on Friday night, defeating the No. 10-ranked Michigan State Spartans 92-71.
The Badgers dominated the game from the start. They jumped out to a 17-point halftime lead, then held the Spartans at arm’s length for the entire second frame. Wisconsin as a team shot a blistering 48% from the floor and 43% from 3-point range, compared to Michigan State’s 36% and 30%, respectively. Yet again, John Blackwell and Nick Boyd headline the Badgers’ scoring production, combining for 53 points on 16-of-31 shooting and 9-of-16 from 3.
