Round and round Kaik Brito goes. Where he stopped was nothing short of gold.
In the OKTAGON 84 main event Saturday, Brito (19-6) won the promotion’s vacant welterweight title with a flashy-yet-effective barrage of fight-finishing strikes on opponent Ronald Paradeiser (23-10). The stoppage came at 1:18 of Round 3.

Brazil’s Brito first stunned Slovak Republic’s Paradeiser with a spinning back elbow. Though Paradeiser tried to keep a good poker face, it wasn’t good enough. Brito pursued the finish, which he got when he connected with a whipping spinning backfist. Paradeiser crumpled and some follow-up punches came next.
Brito, 28, remains a thrilling viewership experience each and every time out. His ability to create excitement is likely responsible for his Dana White’s Contender Series appearance in 2023. Since that loss to Oban Elliott, Brito has gone 3-1 including a victory over former UFC signee Joilton Lutterbach.
