The Wisconsin Badgers are losing an assistant coach late in the cycle, as wide receivers coach Jordan Reid is joining the Atlanta Falcons as an assistant quarterbacks coach, according to 247Sports’s Matt Zenitz and Nick Osen.
Reid came to Wisconsin last offseason after coaching wide receivers at Western Michigan from 2023-24. He’s also coached at Wake Forest as an offensive quality control coach from 2020-21 and as an offensive graduate assistant at Ohio in 2019. In between his Wake Forest and Western Michigan stints, Reid got a taste of the NFL, being an intern with the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings.

Reid was a former wide receiver himself, playing at Ohio from 2013-16, where he totaled 1,667 yards and 12 touchdowns in his career.
He’s had a quick rise up the ranks and was quickly involved at Wisconsin as a recruiter, adding four-star Zion Legree and three-star Keeyshawn Tabuteau in the 2026 class, while also initially landing blue-chip, four-star Jayden Petit.
The Falcons had a coaching change this offseason, as Raheem Morris was fired and Kevin Stefanski was hired as the new head coach. Stefanski brought a number of familiar faces with him, hiring Tommy Rees as his offensive coordinator and Alex Van Pelt as his quarterbacks coach.
Now, he’s bringing in a young, rising coach with Reid joining the staff.
