Browns retain another Kevin Stefanski assistant under Todd Monken

by

Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken is finalizing his coaching staff and has decided to keep one of Kevin Stefanski’s former assistants on staff. Sanders Davis, the team’s assistant offensive line coach, will remain with the team and help new offensive line coach George Warhop try to turn around a terrible unit, hopefully one with upgraded personnel to work with.

Last year was Davis’s first season in the NFL after coaching under Mike Bloomgren, the Browns‘ offensive line coach for 2025, at Rice University. He spent one year as a graduate assistant before spending five years as Bloomgren’s offensive line coach when he was the head coach at Rice.

It’s interesting to keep a team’s assistant offensive line coach after hiring a different guy to be the offensive line coach, which makes you think that Davis made a great first impression on head coach Monken to keep him around for the 2026 season.
