Texas Football is going after a key member of the 2027 Miami Hurricanes recruiting class. According to Rivals, Steve Sarkisian’s staff are trying to flip four-star wide receiver commit Ah’Mari Stevens. The Fort Lauderdale Chaminade-Madonna Prep standout will visit the Forty Acres on June 19.
Though he’s a Miami pledge, the 5-foot-11 wide out has posted a list of five finalists. At this point, it almost seems unlikely he’s end up signing with Miami. His official visit in Coral Gables is on May 29. It’s a positive for Texas their official visit is after the ‘Canes.
Stevens grew up near the Miami campus and has always been a Hurricanes lean. Miami’s re-emergence has put the ‘Canes at the top of several recruits. He is the No. 17 ranked player in the State of Florida and the No. 23 WR in the country. He is the No. 192 ranked player overall by Rivals.
