Ready to send another haul of first round picks in this year’s draft, guys like Sonny Styles and Arvell Reese stole all of the headlines on Thursday, and rightfully so. From the measurables physically to their overall performances in the various drills being tested, Ohio State was once again the talk of the event, and that’s only further backing the testimony of Developed Here the coaching staff loves to use.

Recruits all over the country seeing these sort of showings from Ohio State players has to speak volumes to this staff’s continued successful track record. A cycle that has repeated itself, 2027 and beyond are only going to get better.

Four-star DB narrows list down to 10

Another day, another top schools list including Ohio State.

The Buckeyes saw good news on Thursday when California native Danny Lang released the latest update in his recruitment. A 6-foot, 160 pound athlete, Lang is the No. 100 player nationally and 12th best cornerback in the 2027 class per the 247Sports Composite.

Nearly 30 offers to his name, seeing him narrow his sights to ten shows the decision is getting closer to being made, but there’s still enough time for programs to pitch why they’re the best fit. A Mater Dei product, Lang’s list of 10 includes the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, Ohio State, USC, and Washington.

Set to decide between these finalists later this summer, Danny has a commitment date of July 2 in the works. Ohio State recruiting Mater Dei often these days, they’ll look to try and change their fortune as the California powerhouse has only given the Buckeyes Chris Henry Jr. in the last few years, and his Ohio roots helped that case.

Just a few months to go, Lang is keeping Ohio State in the fold like many other top players in the defensive secondary.
