Happy Friday Husky fans. Today I got a chance to talk with 2027 3 star running back Jeremy Adeyanju from Sandra Day O’Connor HS, AZ. Adeyanju, who is rated as the 84th best running back in the class by 247sports and even higher by on3 (17th best back in the country), holds offers from AZ, ASU, Florida, Michigan, and UW. The Huskies have been one of the teams recruiting Adeyanju the longest and here is what he had to say about his recruitment and interest in UW:
UWDP: You have been blowing up on the recruiting front. How has that been getting a ton of new offers and attention ?

Definitely been a blessing having all these schools reach out to me.
UWDP: When did you first start hearing from UW?
I first started hearing from UW in January.
UWDP: What do you think about UW and Coach Graham?
I definitely like coach Graham, he is a great coach. We just went over some scheme stuff in Washington.
UWDP: Do you have any spring visits lined up and where are you visiting?
I’m planning on visiting Washington and USC this spring.
UWDP: What are you looking for in a school that you commit to?
I’m looking for great academics and great coaching as well.
UWDP: How would you describe yourself as a football player?

I would describe myself as a physical RB with the breakaway speed that allows me to make home run plays.
Last season Adeyanju had 1,167 yards on 147 carries and 15 rushing touchdowns. The Huskies are trying to bring in at least 1 running back in the 2027 class and Adeyanju is one of the top backs on the west coast in the 2027 class (he’s listed at 6’0” and around 215 pounds).
