Javier Reyes danced on the way to the cage and on the way out of it Saturday at UFC Fight Night 268 in Mexico City.
Following a walkout dance party, Reyes (23-5 MMA, 1-0 UFC) survived some adversity-filled moments to finish seasoned veteran Douglas Silva de Andrade (29-7 MMA, 7-7 UFC) by TKO with one second left in Round 1 a CDMX Arena.

Reyes was hurt badly in the opening minute by de Andrade, who increased his aggression but ultimately paid the price. De Andrade was dropped minutes later. Reyes got his back and pounded away.
Referee Herb Dean was undeterred by the clock’s minuscule distance to expiration. He warned de Andrade to get out of the bad spot, but the Brazilian was unable to and Dean waved the fight off.
Reyes notches his first UFC win in what was his 28th professional fight. The victory come 14 years after Reyes made his competitive MMA debut.
De Andrade, 40, falls to 1-3 in his most recent four outings.
