The 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup is right around the corner and is set to feature 12 teams split across three groups, all vying for the title of Asian Champions.
This year’s edition will be hosted by Australia and will be begin on March 1 with the first match being a showdown between the host, Australia and the Philippines and will be held at the Optus Stadium (Perth Stadium) in Perth.
This will be the last time the tournament is linked with the qualifications for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, as a standalone qualifiers for the tournament will be held starting from the 2031 edition onwards.
