Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Huskies are set to host a massive wave of unofficial visitors next weekend for Junior day and we will make sure we put a list out next weekend of some of the visitors that were on campus. Today I wanted to spend a little time talking about some new 2027 offers that went out to some intriguing prospects:
3 star cornerback Kamil Loud from Bishop Gorman HS, NV was offered by UW this last week. Loud, who is rated as the 74th best cornerback in the country by 247sports and the 9th best prospect in Nevada in the class, also holds offers from Utah, AZ, ASU, FSU, Miami, and Wisconsin. The Huskies have really honed in on getting bigger cornerbacks in the program under coach Fisch and his staff, and Loud fits that mold (he’s listed at 6’1” and around 185 pounds). Loud is an intriguing corner who has good ball skills, good instincts and the frame the Huskies love.
Another new offer that went out in the 2027 class went out in New Jersey. 3 star tight end Sean Currie from The Lawrenceville HS, NJ received a Husky offer this last week. The Huskies have now offered 10 players in New Jersey in the 2027 class and Currie is the 16th tight end to be offered in the 2027 class. Listed at 6’7” and around 230 pounds, Currie is a massive tight end (he is currently committed to Virginia). Currie is currently rated as the 21st best tight end in the 2027 class by 247sports and also holds offers from Penn State, FSU, Pitt, and Wisconsin. Last season Currie tallied 34 catches for 474 yards and 8 touchdowns.
The Huskies who now have 7 commits in the 2027 class are definitely aiming to beat the 2026 class ranking which sat as the 13th best in the country and there is a real shot that the Huskies could surpass it this year. Next weekends junior day will go a long way in solidifying the class and setting the Huskies up for a monster run this spring/early summer as official visits start to heat up. That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
