Georgia Bulldogs offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann have each earned a significant pay raise prior to the 2026 season, per USA TODAY’s Marc Weiszer.
Mike Bobo was widely regarded as a top offensive coordinator in all of college football last season, despite some criticism from Georgia fans. The playcaller was named as a finalist for the Broyles Award for the nation’s top assistant coach in 2025. Now, Bobo’s annual salary will increase by $700,000 in 2026. Bobo has won an SEC championship as Georgia’s offensive coordinator in each of the last two seasons. He has landed a much deserved pay raise prior to the start of next season.

The defensive coordinator has spent the last 11 seasons as a member of coach Kirby Smart’s staff, and four as the Dawgs’ defensive coordinator. Schumann has done an excellent job since taking over as co-DC in 2019, as Georgia’s offensive and defensive coordinators will now receive an annual salary of $2.2 million.
