Four-star cornerback Jerry Outhouse Jr. makes commitment

by

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have made a major addition to their 2027 recruiting class, landing a commitment from four-star cornerback Jerry Outhouse Jr.

He picked the Bulldogs over the Texas Tech Red Raiders, UCLA Bruins, Florida Gators, and Arizona State Sun Devils. The Fort Worth, Texas, native has taken multiple visits to Athens during his recruitment and is set to be back for an official visit on June 12. He is currently scheduled to officially visit the rest of his finalists, but Smart and Co. will be working to change that now that he has committed.

Outhouse is ranked as the No. 185 overall player and No. 25 cornerback in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 28 player from Texas.

He is Georgia‘s sixth commitment in the 2027 cycle, and the fourth blue-chip prospect. The group is ranked as the 6th-best class in the country and the third-best in the SEC. Outhouse is their second cornerback commit, joining five-star recruit Donte Wright, who is considering flipping to a Big Ten school.

He has not published his stats from his junior season, when Brewer High School went 7-4. He had an excellent sophomore season, though, recording 44 tackles, 13 pass breakups, six interceptions, and a forced fumble.
