Two Big Ten teams that are headed for March Madness will get a late regular-season test as the Purdue Boilermakers host the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday afternoon.
These are two of the best offenses in the conference and have a history of high-scoring games, which is why I’m taking the Over in my Wisconsin vs. Purdue predictions below.

Wisconsin vs Purdue best bet: Over 155.5 (-116)
The Purdue Boilermakers are averaging 81.9 ppg this year, but even that number masks how good this team is offensively because of a relatively slow pace. The Boilermakers rank second nationally in offensive efficiency at KenPom.com.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Badgers are no slouch either, coming in at No. 18 in that metric.
These teams combined to put up 162 points in their first meeting this season. Wisconsin has hit the Over in five of its last seven games, while Purdue has done the same in four of its last five. I’m predicting lots of points again today and taking the Over.

Purdue won the first meeting between these teams this season by 16 points in Wisconsin, so I like the Boilermakers to cover again tonight.
I’ll also take a couple of C.J. Cox props, as he’s scored an average of 20.0 ppg over his last two games and has hit at least two shots from deep in each of his last three contests.

That means taking Braden Smith (14.7 ppg) to go Over 16.5 points and Trey Kaufman-Renn (13.3 ppg) to score Over 15.5 points — both very attainable in a high-scoring game.
