Former Premier League goalkeeper gives bizarre TV interview while having haircut

by

Former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Carlos Miguel has given us one of the most bizarre footballing moments of 2026 — having his haircut on the pitch while being interviewed.

The 27-year-old Brazilian was interviewed on national TV after his side Palmeiras won the Sao Paulo state division — the Campeonato Paulista.

But incredibly, Miguel also had his haircut while the interview was happening.

Palmeiras won the final over Novorizontino 2-1 on the night and 3-1 on aggregate, in a match where club legend Gustavo Gómez became their most decorated player, winning his 13th trophy.

Miguel joined Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2024 from fellow Sao Paulo side Corinthians.

But after a season at the City Ground in which he failed to make a league appearance, playing twice in the FA Cup and once in the League Cup, he moved back to his native Brazil and joined Palmeiras.

There, he has enjoyed immediate success, playing nine times on the way to Paulista glory, as well as all four matches in Brazilian Serie A, in which Palmeiras sit top, above local rivals Sao Paulo on goal difference.
