Browns re-sign Teven Jenkins amid offensive line overhaul

by

The Cleveland Browns, after their entire starting offensive line entered free agency, re-signed guard Teven Jenkins on Tuesday.

Coupled with the acquisition of tackle Tytus Howard via trade with the Houston Texans and the addition of free agent guard Zion Johnson on Monday, the Browns have three likely starters in the fold for 2026.

Jenkins, 28, started four games at right guard in 2025 as Cleveland dealt with myriad injuries along the line. He appeared in all 17 games for Cleveland last season after signing a one-year deal.

A second-round pick (No. 39) of the Bears in the 2021 draft, Jenkins spent his first four seasons in Chicago, where he made 38 starts at left tackle, right tackle, right guard and left guard but missed 22 games because of injury.

In five seasons, Jenkins has appeared in 62 games with 42 starts.
