Indiana football is in the mix for Da’Jon Talley-Rhodes, a running back in the class of 2027 out of St. John’s College High School in Washington D.C., with the Hoosiers being among the top six programs he’s considering, per his social media.
The other programs in the mix include a slew of Big Ten rivals with Penn State, Wisconsin, Washington, Michigan State and Boston College rounding out the rest of his six. Maryland extended a scholarship offer but doesn’t appear to have made the cut.

Talley-Rhodes is a 3-star prospect who ranks in as the 32nd highest-rated running back and 397th highest-rated prospect overall in the class of 2027, per the Rivals Industry Ranking. He’d be the first running back to join Indiana’s 2027 class, joining other prospects on offense including 3-star wide receiver Ja’Hyde Brown and 3-star quarterback Jameson Purcell. It seems to be a position of some priority for the Hoosiers as the program has extended a wide net with offers in 2027.
